Acceptance

By downloading or using Second Brain, you agree to these Terms of Use, the Apple Standard EULA, and any applicable App Store rules. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What the app does

Second Brain is a personal productivity tool for capturing thoughts, organizing Markdown notes, and preparing or performing actions in Apple Reminders and Calendar. It is not a medical, legal, financial, emergency, or other professional service.

Your content and accounts

You retain ownership of the content you place in the app. You are responsible for having the right to use and process that content, including information about other people. You are also responsible for your Apple account, any model-provider account or API key you connect, linked folders, backups, subscription charges, and direct provider usage charges.

Model services and generated results

Model features are optional. Managed Intelligence uses OpenAI through the Second Brain service. Personal-key access uses the Anthropic or OpenAI service you configure. Your use is also governed by the applicable provider's terms and policies. Second Brain does not control provider availability or processing.

Generated interpretations and suggested actions can be incomplete or wrong. Review important notes, reminders, dates, recipients, and calendar details before relying on them. Do not use model output as the sole basis for high-impact or professional decisions.

Changes to your data

When you approve or enable an action, Second Brain may create, update, move, or delete content in the folders and Apple services you connected. Review receipts and confirmations, keep appropriate backups, and verify important changes. Undo may not be available for every external effect.

Subscriptions and billing

Managed Intelligence is offered through optional monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions purchased with Apple In-App Purchase. Current prices, subscription length, and any introductory trial are shown before confirmation and may vary by storefront. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and renewal is charged within 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Any trial converts to the selected paid plan unless canceled before the trial ends. You may instead connect a supported personal provider key, in which case that provider's charges and terms apply.

Acceptable use

Do not use Second Brain to violate law, infringe another person's rights, distribute malware, bypass service restrictions, or send content you are not permitted to process. You must follow applicable Apple, Anthropic, OpenAI, network, and storage-provider terms.

Availability and warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Second Brain is provided as is and as available. Features may change, stop, or depend on Apple and third-party services. No guarantee is made that the app or model output will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, missed reminders, incorrect model output, provider charges, or unavailable third-party services. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

Changes, termination, and contact

You may stop using and delete the app at any time. Access may be limited where necessary to protect the app, comply with law, or address misuse. Updated terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions can be sent to daniel.pustotin@gmail.com.
